Community Health Seminars
Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital offers a variety of health seminars for the community to attend. Physicians and providers present on pertinent health topics on a monthly basis. Seminars are free to attend and held in various areas of town including the Tempe Public Library and the Burton Barr Central Library in Phoenix.
Childbirth Education Class
Our childbirth education class covers a variety of topics to help you prepare for the birth of your baby. You will learn what to expect during the various stages of labor, breathing and relaxation techniques, your options for pain management, and how your coach can help you through labor. Taught by registered nurses, the class also covers breastfeeding and infant safety. A tour of The Birthing Suites is included.
Wired for Success® Workshop
Wired for Success® is made possible by New Directions Institute for Early Childhood Brain Development, First Things First and Tempe St. Luke’s to educate new and expecting parents, grandparents and childcare providers about the latest information and techniques to “wire up” your young child’s brain for a successful future.
Dementia Friendly Tempe – Caregiver Support Group & Events
Dementia Friendly Tempe hosts weekly gatherings and other events in a comfortable, safe and engaging place for people living with memory loss along with their care partners.
