Michael J. Orris, D.O.
Dr. Michael J. Orris
General and Bariatric Surgeon
Dr. Michael J. Orris has joined
the Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital Medical
Staff and opened Arizona Surgical Institute
in the Tempe St. Luke’s Medical Office
Building.
Before relocating to the Valley
of the Sun, Dr. Orris completed his general
surgery residency in Pennsylvania. Dr. Orris
received extensive training in open and advanced
laparoscopic surgery and bariatric surgery.
He completed his general medical internship
in Pennsylvania caring for general medical,
emergency, ICU, pediatric, OB-gyn, surgery,
orthopedic and family practice patients. Dr.
Orris attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine in Pennsylvania and holds an MBA in
healthcare management from St. Joseph’s
University in Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s
degree in biology from St. Joseph’s University.
“As a general surgeon,
I believe in personalized patient care,”
says Dr. Orris. “I want every patient
to experience a comprehensive approach to their
overall health and well being.”
